Tempura Daikokuya
Pass through the Kaminari Gate of Sensouji temple grounds, browse in the small shops lining the path to the temple, pay your respects to Kannnon,the Goddess of Mercy, and have tendon at Daikokuya.

This very filling rice dish is topped with huge prawns and flavored in the slightly tempura sauce. Daikokuya is the type of restaurant a grandmother could bring her grandchild to and share one portion;
its casual atmosphere and unaffected service are characterisitic of Asakusa.

There are also three prix-fixe tendon and tempura courses: ¥4,000, ¥5,000 and ¥6,000.
